What are our Credentials?

Bathroom Renovations License Number 182573C - Bathroom Renovators, waterproofing & wall and floor tiling, and are members of the HIA and WICA (Housing Industry Association & Waterproofing Council of Australia) and may be checked at the Office of Fair Trading by phoning 1300 554 668 or logging onto www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.
Are we insured?
Yes - Bathroom Images has $20 million dollars Public Liability insurance, current Workers Compensation certificates and have Homeowners Warranty Insurance eligibility. Homeowners entering into a NSW Kitchen, Bathroom & Laundry Supply and Install Contract with Bathroom Images Pty Ltd must also have their own current building and contents insurance in place as set down by HIA building contract guidelines.
What information is required for the design consultant?
• A complete "wish list"
• A rable ueasonnderstanding of your ideas, layout and objectives
• Magazine cutouts so that we have a general idea of your desired bathroom style
How much involvement will I have during the renovation?
Besides the initial consultation and confirmation of design and inclusions, Bathroom Images will coordinate the entire job from strip out to clean up. Each job is completely supervised and coordinated so that you don't even have to be in the house during the renovation if you wish.
How do I accept your quotation?
Acceptance needs to be in writing. You will also have to authorise any plans, drawings or other specifications proposed by Bathroom Images
Is there a payment schedule?
Yes, a deposit is required at the time you enter into the building contract. Progress payments will also be required and the payment schedule will be specified in your quotation.
How long will the renovation take?
A quality bathroom renovation takes approximately 3-4weeks. Additional time for shower screens and custom cabinetry should be allowed as these items usually cannot be check measured until the renovation is nearly complete, before manufacturing and installation.
Do you have to turn off the water during the job?
Yes but usually only for a couple of hours.
What measures do you take to protect my floor coverings etc?
Thick plastic is taped down on the floor, usually from the entry door through to the work area and left in place throughout the works. We ask that you remove or protect any furnishings, clothing, bedding, electrical equipment or any other items that may be in the area.
What guarantee do I get with the job?
We offer a statutory warranty of 7-years on labour, materials and our waterproofing system, as per the NSW Home Building Act. Prime cost items have their own manufacturers warranty, usually 12 months to 2-years. |
